DAY 28: WEBBS GAP TO MARRABEL

Today’s distance: 30.88 km

Total: 737.49 km

The walk today can be best described as ‘pleasant’. I was joined by a good friend and weekend trail walker, Belinda. Walking and (lots of) talking we continued hiking alongside the range.

The morning we watched the fog and mist on top of the range, hoping it wasn’t going to rain. The scenery didn’t chance much from the previous day, but it was still something I could continue to deeply appreciate. The landscape seemed almost too perfect! Thick green crops, fluorescent yellow Canola, old stone ruins with a hilly range in the background.

We passed a sign saying I have done 700 km with 400 km to go. Woohoo!

When company is around time flies by. Except for the last 5 km which somehow always seems to be agony.
